Anglers morning will start at 6:30 am with a hot breakfast then off to the river with a hearty packed lunch guaranteed not to leave you hungry. Anglers lunch has a hearty sandwich, fruit, vegetables, sometimes a salad, chips, baked goods, sweets and bottled water). Our day will be spent drifting or Jet boating a 10 km to 15 km stretch of river with a professional licensed fishing guide, we will pull off the water around 4:30 pm, then be on route for home where drinks and dinner will commence. Our guest rooms are large clean and cozy to complete the fishing lodge with a fully stocked fly tying bench and commercial cedar sauna to warm the bones on those cool fall or spring steelhead days. At trips end you will be shuttled back to the airport and given a firm handshake and aspirations of your next Adventure with us!

The summer has been very good to us this year, we had encountered some long hot weeks that brought many sun burns and low waters; thankfully we are experiencing some precipitation and the levels are getting back to normal (The rivers are staying in perfect shape even with the rains). The Skeena has been absolutely flawless this summer! We have been very busy in the lodge, and out on the water everyday. This past week we had Brian and Barry visit us from the land down under aka ‘Australia’, as well as the Kawata Family from California. If you are in need of a much needed holiday (i’m personally telling you to pick up the phone and give me a shout to see what dates we have available:) I have been trying to keep up with the calendar on the web site to show you what dates are booked and what are open (=
Our Glamping Tents set up on the property – are getting pretty booked up this fall, so if it tickles your fancy at all, give us a shout and find out if it’s available! The Skeena has been absolutely flawless this summer! We have been very busy in the lodge, and out on the water everyday. Skeena River Fishing Guides Return From 2015 ISE California and Colorado.
We have just finished up four Sport Show days in California and four Sport Show days in Colorado at the International Sportsman’s Exposition. It was very nice to meet up with clients in California who have helped support our family run business. Within the 36 hours, 4 days at the Sacramento show, we spoke to many people who were very interested in the Skeena region, Steelhead and Salmon, as well as great people re-booking. We also spent 36 hours within 4 days at the Denver show, which we haven’t attended the Denver show for quite a few years, and it was nice to meet a new crowd, answer new questions, see new faces. All’s we can do is wait and seed how many, out of the dozens we spoke to, will actually book an Adventure with us (=
We will be back in the Skeena Country tomorrow evening and preparing for the upcoming Spring Steelhead Season, as we are 90% booked with the Last week in April as well as the first two weeks in May available. So should any of you have interest please call or email to inquire.
March 10-17 2015 I have put together a ‘boys’ trip to Christmas Island, there are five of us booked, with room for two more, should you be interested in coming with us contact Steve McLaughlin ASAP 1-303-494-1375 or steve.mclaughlin23@gmail.com and cc me in the email.
