MEET OUR STEELHEAD & SALMON FISHING GUIDES
With over 20 years experience exploring and fishing in the Northwest
With over thirty seasons of angling guiding under his belt, our assistant angling guide, Pierce Clegg, brings to the table lots of experience. Mostly retired from owning and operating Babine Norlakes Lodge, Pierce has kept his guiding foot in the door with Gill at the now infamous Steelhead Boot Camp. Practising “hospitality” is one of Pierce’s strengths in addition to several decades of fly fishing for trout and steelhead. When he is not guiding for Gill you can find Pierce care taking his old Trout Lodge on Babine Lake which is very near the famous Babine River Rainbow Alley.
Luke Gordon moved to Terrace when he was 5 years old and fell in love with the fishing, scenery, and the wildlife that this region has to offer. Luke has been fishing the beautiful rivers, streams, and lakes in and around Terrace for 12 years. When Luke isn’t on the water fishing, he enjoys playing hockey, soccer, or lacrosse. Luke is currently working as as an electrical apprentice during his off-season from guiding. Luke looks forward to meeting you and showing you what the beautiful northwest has to offer. He will gladly take you out on the water to chase trophy salmon and steelhead.
